The Last Supper

Tonight will be the last night that they spend on the farm. In the morning they will be off to slaughter. I spent some time, much more than I usually do, with them today. It was a sunny day and they were rolling around in the dirt on their backs, sunbathing. Like dogs do when they want a scratch.

It will be very sad to see them go. I will never forget them, and neither will the people of the village. Neither will the land they were on!

But they are much bigger than they were, and I am confident they will make beautiful pork, tastier, happier and more loved than any other pork.

So it will be sad to say goodbye, but goodbye we must say.

Goodbye Kevin Bacon and Francis Bacon
